The NJ 4-H Foods Day is a statewide event for members, parents, and volunteers in the foods and/or nutrition 4-H projects. The day's activities will include an interactive workshop, skill-a-thon, team Jeopardy contest, lunch and an awards ceremony. There will also be a morning workshop for adult participants.
Each 4-H member will be enrolled in the poster contest (mixed-county teams of 3-4 members - assigned day of event) in the morning. All members will be able to participate in the skill-a-thon (individual entry, 8 stations) and the Jeopardy contest in the afternoon. Master Chefs contest where individuals prepare a dish featuring a key ingredient provided is optional. Divisions will include: Cloverbud (K-3rd grade) - non competitive, Novice (4-5th grade), Junior (6-8th grade), and Senior (9-13th grade).
