4-H Shooting Sport Teen Ambassador

The 4-H Shooting Sports Teen Ambassador Program affords teens the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in citizenship, leadership, community service and public speaking as they travel serving as advocates and spokespersons for 4-H Shooting Sports at a variety of events and activities. Teens must:
- Be in 9th – 11th grade when applying for the position.
- Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Be enrolled in 4-H and actively participating in a 4-H Shooting Sports Club for a minimum of 2 years.
- Be willing to attend the 4-H Shooting Sports Advisory Council meetings when invited.
- Be available for an in person interview.
- Must be present at the Shooting Sports Banquet of the current 4-H year.
- Attend special programs and activities requested by the NJS4- HSSAC.
- Give talks about 4-H and Shooting Sports to outside organizations.
- Possibly move on to the National Level by attending the National 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador Training (Information non-applicable at this time).
