Reel Into Fishing Event!

Join the International Game Fishing Association and 4-H/Rutgers Cooperative Extension for a two-day fishing clinic. This hands-on program will teach you about fishery management, environmental science, biology and much more. Also included is an adventure on a REAL boat!

Are you ready to walk? Be a part of the 2nd Annual Walking Art Competition now through September 17. Walk a shape of your choosing and enter it in for the chance to win some gift card prizes. Let’s be creative and healthy together!

Japanese State Exchange

This summer, States’ 4-H, in collaboration with international partners, will be hosting six free virtual events that will highlight six different countries around the world. The virtual events will include cultural trivia, language intros, and hands-on craft and cooking activities. These events are created for youth ages 9–18, but other family members can attend as well!.
States’ 4-H will be hosting two events each month from June–August, starting with the following countries:

Passaic County 4-H Game Design Challenge

Did you know that playing boardgames can be more than just good family fun? Playing board games is also good for teaching and practicing cognitive skills such as decision making, higher level strategic thinking, and problem solving, all skill important in the computer science field.Families all across NJ are eligible to enter! You will receive instructions and more information via email after you have completed registration.

2021 Learn2Lead-Lead2Serve Registration

Presented by Middlesex County, New Jersey, the Learn2Lead - Lead2Serve program is an interactive four-day program to help teens develop leadership skills for the future, participate in community service and develop communication skills. Teens will leave with a sense of self-confidence and be better prepared to take on challenges in the future.

4-H Animal Science Fun

Registration has been filled

Have fun learning about different animals from 4-H professionals around New Jersey. Each day participants will learn a little about animals who have jobs, horses, marine life, amphibians, and reptiles. At the end of the week, youth will also get to participate in an animal share activity, teaching and learning from each other!
