NJ 4-H Home > About 4-H > Delivery Modes > 4-H Afterschool in New Jersey |
![]() New Jersey 4-H has joined with other Cooperative Extension Systems across the nation to focus on improving the quality of existing Afterschool programs. 4-H will strive to offer increased access to safe and inviting Afterschool programs that provide positive youth development experiences. By forming new school and community partners and by increasing 4-H clubs in Afterschool, 4-H will address family and community needs throughout the state. Trained 4-H staff and volunteers will provide research-based curricula to Afterschool care providers, offering the necessary educational and technical assistant to existing Afterschool programs to support the goals of the local program. Trainers will utilize resource guides found in the National “4-H Afterschool In A Box” curriculum as well as other 4-H curriculums specifically designed for use with afterschool programs.
