State Teen Advisory Council

The State 4-H Teen Advisory Council (STAC) is an opportunity for 4-H members around the state in grades 8-13 to serve at a state level, providing advice and input to the 4-H youth development department. As a group, they participate at state events including:

  1. South Jersey 4-H Teen Conference (SJTC), held each year in March
  2. Ag. Field Day on Cook Campus, held the last Saturday of April
  3. 4-H State Public Presentation Day, held each year in June
  4. Statewide community service project
  5. State teen campout

STAC takes part in the election process of both the North and South Jersey Teen Representatives who gather input from teens from their region and relay it to the State 4-H Volunteer Association and the 4-H department. In addition, STAC teens are involved in Conflict Resolution training and serve as a state peer review team for any conflicts that may arise at a state or national event.

For further information or to join the State Teen Advisory Council, contact your local county 4-H extension office.
